ROSENTHAL Metropol Scenario Espresso Cup Set by Barbara Brenner C200
A set of two Rosenthal 'Metropol' espresso cups and saucers, designed by Barbara Brenner.
This particular 'Metropol' pattern can be difficult to find. It was manufactured by Rosenthal during the early 1990s and then discontinued relatively soon after.
The rim of the saucer has wonderful patterning, in bright colours. The octagonal shaped cup is decorated in a contrasting dark brown, spotted pattern.
Each piece is marked on the underside with 'Rosenthal Germany'.
❖Condition: The condition is overall very good.
Please note that I use strong lighting to help highlight the maximum amount of detail of each piece. As each piece is bathed in such strong lighting conditions, the on-screen effect will possibly make the item appear lighter in colour and tone. Your piece may look slightly darker in more natural lighting conditions.
